Abrir un libro  

leer palabras tejidas en l�neas

l�neas convertidas en im�genes

 

Im�genes configur�ndose

en el consciente y el inconsciente  del lector,

de su pasado, su presente y un futuro

que aun no ha tomado forma

 

El poeta al escribir, no sabe quien leer�

su obra despu�s de que  sea liberada

 

Algunos empezaran

a leer y la dejaran a las primeras palabras o estrofas

para nunca ponerle mas importancia

 

Otros capturaran esos pensamientos

haci�ndolos suyos, sinti�ndolos suyos

encontrar en esas letras lo que ellos no han

querido o han podido expresar

 

Habr� o quiz�s habr� un sonrisa

un grito de alegr�a, de congoja,

de rabia, de perd�n, de alivio

... de renacimiento

 

Algo, pero algo
nacer� de nuevo

en otro cerebro y otro coraz�n

y el poema seguir� viviendo

To open a book

read words woven into lines

lines converted into images

 

Configuring images

in the conscious and the unconscious of the reader,

of their past, their present and a future

that has not yet taken shape

 

The poet upon writing, does not know who will read

their work after it been liberated

 

Some will begin to read

and will leave it after the first words or stanzas

never giving it more importance

 

Others will capture those thoughts

making them theirs, feeling them theirs

finding in those letters that which they have not

wanted or been able to express

 

There will or might be a smile

a cry of joy, of sorrow,

of rage, of forgiveness, of relief

... of rebirth

 

Something, but something

will be born again

in another brain and another heart

and the poem will keep on living
