nieves de su cola?

conversar con los vivos y los difuntos,
Sentir lo
profano y lo divino?
¿Abrazar
a los viejos y nuevos amigos?

Hundirse en
la noche anunciando lluvia

escriben sus libros / cantan una tonada
Van a la conferencia
de choroyes
Fablando en
algarabía en la araucaria afuera de la

Foretell the
stories in the sacred tapestries?
To seek what
is no more?
Confirm that
there are algae in the desert / roses in
the ocean
Seedlings
of oblivion among the Phoenix’s ashes?
Fire in the
snows of its tail?
Faces that
exist no more / dashes in uncertainty
To converse
with the living and the dead
Feel the profane
and the divine?
Embrace new
friends and old?

Or like some
birds
To plunge
into the night announcing rain
While others
write their books
Practice a
tune / look for God
Or attend
a conference of parakeets
Jabbering
in the monkey puzzle tree
Outside the
embassy?

New plumage
/ river of commotion / rhythm and balance

Birds drink
from the omens / the immensity of absence
The black-crowned
night heron sings / clicks its bill
